I like to spread the word, so here’s some local/Scottish bands that you might enjoy. They are all awesome and in no particular order.
Shooting Stansfield
The word I would use to describe these guys is brawsome. Their lyrics are pretty clever, they make me smile; and when I listen to Pulse I can’t help but dance, at the least toe-tap.
Reality hits you like a brick in the face, wo ho ho hohoho.

Another Scottish band (we have the best bands btw) who are currently out making everyone love them. Occasionally misspelt as Frightened Rabbi which makes me lol.
Currently loving Keep yourself warm mostly because:
You won’t find love in a, you won’t find love in a hole
It take’s more than fucking some one you don’t know to keep yourself warm
The Banana Sessions
Prodigy put these guys on their website btw. They did a remashup of their popular tunes. Go watch it here I love it. They have a flute and a tuba and all sorts of contraptions, and Bob has the most beautiful voice, she is lovely too. So if you enjoy jaunty-happy-jazz-folk you will love this. In fact, you will love it no matter what. It’s amazing. They do plenty gigs, and appear to be playing at Knockengorroch Festival again.
Big Hand
My boyfriend Dean that was totally obsessed with Big Hand when I first met him, since then I’ve been to see them many times. Their set hasn’t changed much but they have now released an album and are actually skatastic just the way they are. Go give them a listen, or if you’re in the UK, go see them; they are guarenteed to make you sweat when you see them live. Take your fedora or trilby along, and try not to let any one steal it (sorry if we have your hat).
